Desborough Football

Desborough Tigers (U10's - school years 4 & 5) and Desborough Lions (U12's - school years 6 & 7) play in the Chiltern Church league. The players in our teams come from a number of local schools and churches and also include players who do not regularly attend church.

The Tigers play mini-soccer on a small pitch with small goals, games are two halves of 15 minutes. Mini-soccer teaches the children teamwork, discipline, passing and positional skills and is great fun.

The Lions play 11 a side on a full size pitch, games are two halves of 30 minutes. Last season was our first venture into this and was a big learning curve! The players have developed team and individual skills and have worked hard and enjoyed the games.

Our home ground is Totteridge Rec, the entrance is between 136 and 138 Walton Drive, off Arnison Avenue. Training is on Saturday mornings from 10.00am to 11.45am for the Lions and 10.30am to 11.45am for the Tigers.
