The traditional congregation of St Birinus and St John's Church meet on Sundays at 9am at the Booker site. We use Common Worship 1 in contemporary language for our Communion service, there is a sermon, and we sing hymns, mostly from "Hymns Old and New". The service lasts for about an hour, and tea and coffee are served afterwards. Our congregation has been formed by the merging of the two "traditional" congregations from our founding churches, and our service now contains elements of both. To signify a new start, both congregations left behind the "settings" they were used to, and we now use a setting by John Rutter.
